Lawrettawrites is a new-age book blog, providing just about all you can feed on in the African/Global ‘bookosphere’. We (Lawretta Egba and Contributors) provide the best (or ‘worst’) books for reviews, author interviews, book launches, and all the possible reportage centered majorly in the non-fiction book community.

Lawrettawrites is also an abode for the many issues and attributes peculiar to the African community. The African Knowledge page, would open you to Africa in a way that seeks to change perverse mentalities surrounding Africa and ultimately effect change.

Books reviewed are within and beyond the shores of Africa but provide the right amount of African spice to prove that Africans read books too. For more information on what we do, view our services page.

We cannot promise to make you love books (If you don’t already!), but we can attempt to make it less stuck up than it seems- especially for the plethora of young readers and writers. Enjoy!
